History

Fully committed to innovation since its very beginning, REDEX was created in 1949 as a patent based company by the innovative talented engineer Paul Defontenay.

The patent was based on the thermoplastic clamping of a gearbox system's planetary gears, increasing dramatically the torque/volume ratio of such a key component of modern machinery.

More than seventy years later, headed by Bruno Grandjean, the founder's grandson, REDEX commitment to innovation remains one of the most important parts of its core believes.
